The location was central, fantastic very close to the market which is convenient. Further, it was just off the Fez train station in the new part of the city, the Blue Gate and the entrance of the Old Medina and an alley off the main road leading into Batha. We thoroughly enjoyed the homemade cuisine in the restaurant.

I wanted to visit the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts very much, and that's why I chose Dar Layali Fez as it is very close to the blue gate of the Medina. However, the friendly and helpful staff surprised me the most. They spoke Arabic, English, and French and were always available at the reception to assist. The restaurant, 24-hour front desk, and shared kitchen were also great features. Additionally, the free WiFi throughout the property was a big plus.
Our room was on the first floor near the restroom, so it wasn't quiet, especially when other guests were having breakfast early in the morning. Price could be lower.

I chose Dar Layali Fez because I wanted to visit the Medina of Fez, and it was conveniently close to the blue gate. The staff speaking Arabic, English and French pleasantly surprised me, and they were always on hand to help at the reception. The free WiFi throughout the property was also a great feature that I liked.
Location not amazing but suitable enough for major sites. Room size was cosy, and the shower room design allowed for noise from adjacent rooms.

During my stay at Dar Layali Fez, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. One specific incident stood out to me. I had a problem with the parking attendant who demanded additional payment even though I had already paid. The hotel receptionist quickly resolved the issue by confirming that my payment was indeed valid. Their prompt and efficient handling of the situation impressed me. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided was delicious. I felt well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend Dar Layali Fez for its excellent service and amenities.
